Reflection
Objective
The objective of this project was to collaboratively design a technology-supported learning environment. It is one of the biggest design projects I worked on in my MET journey. The requirements included deciding the target audience, objectives, instructional strategies and theoretical underpinnings, and creating multimedia resources, assessment, and most importantly, selecting the platform that hosts the environment.

Reflection
This was another amazing hands-on opportunity to expand and practice my design skills. The special thing about this project is that it was collaborative. Being part of a design team offers multiple viewpoints and numerous wonderful experiences that can all be employed together to create an efficient, engaging, and sustainable learning environment. My decision-making skills improved greatly, and I became more confident in my educational technology skills. Moreover, I developed my collaboration and communication skills. I became more capable of convincingly pitching my own ideas and effectively incorporating others' experiences into my own when appropriate in order to create a learning design that is conducive of creativity, inclusivity, and flexibility. Moreover, this project taught me how to plan, organize, and distribute the work load so that every team member contributes to their full potential. Additionally, I became more active when it comes to taking initiative and showing readiness to do what's necessary. This project was completed at a later stage in my MET journey (April 2023), so I can safely say that my design skills have matured at that point. One of the significant scholarly works I employed in this project was Bates's SECTIONS model which provides an invaluable model to guide the selection and implementation of technology and multimedia in the design of online learning environments.
Goal Alignment
This artifact aligns with Goal 2 as it served as another wonderful opportunity to consolidate my learning experience design and hone educational technology and media selection and implementation skills.

Metaphor Alignment
It fits within my metaphor since it also constitutes a good example of what occurs in the drafting stage. At this point, the story is pretty much complete, and the writer is more proficient and confident and has a clear idea about how every element fits in the story and why it is a very good choice. There is still room for improvement though obviously and that's when the editing stage starts.
